Young adults find themselves unprepared to achieve their life goals because of a lack of understand of their personal finance. Current education systems, whether in high school or university, fail to deliver basic financial literacy to students in an accessible, approachable, or applicable way.

Discover: Literature review, expert interviews, competitive analysis, focus group, surveys
Define: Stakeholder map, persona statements, empathy map, how might we statements, touch point mapping
Ideate: Sketches, information architecture, user flows, concept testing
Design: Low-fi, mid-fi wireframes, high-fi prototype

Our team of five students developed an extension to the Chase Bank App to help college students set up goals and spending habits that align with their personal values. Vault transcends traditional banking by providing a purpose-driven financial tool.
Our mission is to guide young adults toward smarter, more meaningful spending–transforming every purchase into a step towards personal impact.
